Male nude on chair. This piece was an experiment on a square canvas. I had never worked on a square surface, so wanted to try it out. I lent it to a friend to hang in his office in 2004. He worked for an AIDS-related non-profit, so didn't think anything of it. It caused a little bit of a stir from one or two employees, who wanted "that filth" removed from the walls. It stayed.
